The Eden Centre

Parkside Sixth is based at the Eden Centre, which is a stone’s throw from the Grafton, and a short walk from both Cambridge Train Station and the Bus Station.

The Eden Centre is the base for Parkside Sixth, where you can go for quiet study, support and guidance, lessons, social events and performances.

Wireless is provided throughout the Trust’s sites, so you can connect with people everywhere. Many students bring laptops or other devices to lessons which they work on, and students are able to connect their devices to our wireless network.

The top two floors of the Eden Centre offer large teaching rooms and smaller rooms for group work, mentor meetings and sessions with tutors. The ground floor and basement offer flexible work spaces for independent study, and ICT resources are provided to support you with your studies.

The look and feel of the Eden Centre reflects the personality of Parkside Sixth; it is human scale and high quality. The contemporary decor and beautiful architecture combine to make this a peaceful and unique place to work in the centre of the city.

Parkside, the Central Campus

Parkside, which overlooks Parker’s Piece in the centre of Cambridge, is a beautiful Edwardian building centred on the impressive quadrangle, which is used as a place for relaxation, quiet study and evening performances.

The campus is ICT rich. Classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and projectors.

The Library is newly refurbished with private study spaces and a designated Sixth Form Library area. This contains individual and group work spaces, and students have access to a wide range of books, journals and ICT resources. The Library is open to students from 8am - 5pm.

Parkside has a purpose-built Science, Maths, Technology and Art block. Along with practice rooms in the Music block, these spaces can be booked out by students for activities, with technical support available.
