Enrolment Day

Parkside Sixth enrolment will be on 25th August 2023, 9am-1pm

Here is an electronic version of the enrolment pack that you will recieve.

  • What do I need to bring?

    Please bring:

    • your GCSE transcript with your grades
    • your passport or other photo ID
    • any relevant documentation relating to medical or SEND requirements.

If you do not hold a UK passport, you will also need to bring any relevant documentation showing visa or settled status. For students who have not completed GCSE English Language, you will also need an IELTS certificate showing a score of 7 or above.

  • What does the enrolment process involve?

There will be a short meeting with a member of staff. You can come on your own or with a parent or guardian.

We will have members of staff ready to check that you have met the entry requirements for your chosen subjects, and then take a photocopy of your transcript. We will then confirm your course choices.

If you have changed your mind about course choices since the guidance meeting, then we will need to check that your new selection is suitable for achieving the IB Diploma, you have met the requirements and there are no timetable clashes.

If you did not send in a photo with your data form, we will take your photo so that your studetn card can be created.

  • What do I need to do before starting at Parkside Sixth?

Have a look at the enrolment document (you will be given a paper copy during enrolment as well) as this has got key information for you including key staff, lesson timings and communication.

You should also look at this page which has summer work to get you prepared for the first few weeks of study so that you are able to make the most out of every lesson here!
