Welcome to Parkside Parent Teacher Association (PTA). We are parents and carers like you, working in partnership with the school and students to help our community thrive. We get together with regular events and raise funds to support school-and-student-driven programmes.
The PTA host family-friendly and adult-only events such as quiz nights, wine tasting evenings and the Big Summer BBQ in July. We also coordinate the secondhand uniform sale which takes place in the school lobby, twice a month and sells lightly worn shirts, jumpers, trousers and shorts at a discount.
Over the last few years, our activities have helped Parkside parents and families to raise funds needed to provide: benches for the school grounds; a fridge for the science department; a laser cutter and 3D printer for design-technology; 30 Chromebooks and charging trolley; and more.
Please join us. Come along for a meal and some live music, get some support from other parents, or share your feedback on where you think PTA support would make the biggest difference for Parkside and your child.
